Oakland, CA - Kumu Hula Mark Keali'i Ho'omalu

Kumu hula Mark Keali'i Ho'omalu's dancers have repeatedly taken home honors in major hula competitions on the West Coast and in Hawai‘i. The kane have competed in the Merrie Monarch Hula Competition in Hilo, Hawai‘i, and have taken multiple awards at the Ia ‘Oe E Ka La Festival in Pleasanton, California. With the Academy of Hawaiian Arts professional team and MKH Productions, they have completed two sold-out "hula tours" of Japan.

The men of the Academy of Hawaiian Arts took top honors at KaHulaHou 2008. Now, they are returning to battle to defend their title.
